Peptide Therapy

The protocol is the product.
Not the vial.

Peptide therapy is only as sound as the reasoning behind it. Every PainterMed protocol is designed by Michael Painter, MMS, PA-C., evaluated, written, and followed personally.

What peptide therapy is
and what it isn't.

Peptides are among the most promising and most misunderstood tools in modern wellness care. The compounds get the attention. The clinical reasoning behind them, evaluation, protocol design, monitoring, is what actually determines whether therapy works.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules, instructions your body already understands. Depending on the protocol, they can support areas like recovery, metabolic function, cellular energy, sleep quality, and body composition. That range is exactly why the category has grown so quickly, and exactly why it’s so often handled badly. A therapy this individual cannot be prescribed by menu. What’s appropriate for one patient may be wrong for another with a different history, different medications, or a different goal.

Most of what’s sold as peptide therapy today skips the part that matters. A form is filled out. An algorithm approves it. A box arrives. No one has examined the patient’s history, weighed contraindications, or planned what happens at week four. PainterMed was built on the opposite premise: the evaluation comes first, the protocol is written for the individual, and follow-up is scheduled — not offered. Every patient is assessed personally by Michael Painter, MMS, PA-C, a Physician Assistant with fifteen years across surgical and regenerative medicine.

Start where you are.

Whether you’ve researched specific peptides for years or heard the word for the first time last week, the path forward starts the same way, with understanding.

Six categories. One standard of evaluation.

“No compound on this page is prescribed from a menu. Every protocol begins with your history, your labs, and a conversation.”

Founder, PainterMed

Metabolic Health & Fat Loss

For patients whose goals involve weight, appetite regulation or metabolic function. Screening covers your history, current medications and anything that would make treatment inappropriate.

Recovery, Repair & Tissue Support

For patients dealing with slow recovery from training, injury or surgery. Evaluated against your history, activity level and what is actually driving the recovery problem.

Growth-Hormone Support & Vitality

A closely screened area with clear criteria for who is and is not a candidate. Evaluation includes your history, labs where indicated, and a frank conversation about expectations.

Cellular
Energy

For patients presenting with fatigue, mental clarity or daily energy concerns. What is appropriate depends on what the evaluation finds, not on what you came in asking for.

Longevity & Cognitive Wellness

Michael will explain the available evidence, its limitations and whether any treatment is appropriate for your situation.

Sexual
Wellness

Evaluated with the same clinical process as anything else here, privately and without a preset treatment plan. Many cases have an underlying cause worth addressing first.

Built Because It Didn't Exist

Michael Painter, MMS, PA-C spent fifteen years in surgical and regenerative medicine. When the peptide boom arrived, he watched people close to him buy compounds through group chats and follow dosing written by influencers. They weren’t getting protocols. They were getting product. There was no one he would have wanted them to call. So he built that. PainterMed is a concierge telemedicine practice serving patients across Florida, where the protocol isn’t picked from a menu, but written for the patient on the call. Prescriptions are filled by a licensed dispensing pharmacy.

What gets decided on the call

There is no list to choose from here, and that is deliberate. Which therapy is appropriate, at what dose, on what schedule, and for how long are clinical decisions, and they are made after Michael reviews your history, your current medications, your goals and anything that would make a therapy unsafe.

That evaluation is the whole point. Two patients who describe the same goal often need different approaches, and some patients are told that peptide therapy is not the right answer for them at all. You will understand the reasoning either way before anything is prescribed.

If therapy is appropriate, Michael writes the prescription and sends it to a licensed dispensing pharmacy, which prepares your medication and ships it to you. Follow-up is scheduled, and reorders require another evaluation.

Treatment is prescribed only after evaluation by a licensed clinician. If a prescription is appropriate, it is sent to a licensed dispensing pharmacy, which prepares the medication and ships it to you. Reorders are managed through scheduled follow-up evaluations and are never automatically renewed.

Peptide therapy is prescribed only when clinically appropriate, after a full patient evaluation.
Safety Info: Peptide and compounded therapies carry risks and are not appropriate for everyone. They are not FDA-approved or reviewed for safety before marketing, and a consult determines whether any protocol is right for you.
